Ederline has a good reputation for fishing. All fishing is only for guests staying on the Estate.
Loch Ederline is well known for its pike with regular catches over 10LBs. (record 32 lbs – 1997), roach and perch.
Salmon and sea trout fishing by prior arrangement available on the River Add.
The estate has good wild brown trout fishing in 19 hill lochs, average catches of 15-20 fish a day are common. Fly fishing only.
The lochs may be reached by 4×4 or alternatively you may wish to take the two mile scenic walk through the estate to the lochs.
Loch Awe at 24 miles long is the longest loch in Scotland and contains an abundance of fish and holds the current UK Brown Trout record of 33lbs caught August 2000.
Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Char, Perch, Pike, Salmon and Sea Trout are available in season. Trout Season 15 March to 6 October
All fishing on Loch Awe is covered by a protection order which is enforced by the Loch Awe Improvement Association (LAIA) wardens and tickets can be purchased from Fyne Tackle in Lochgilphead.

Loch Ederline has Pike, Perch & Roach. You can fish from the bank or hire a boat: Fishing is only for guests staying on the Estate which can be arranged on arrival.
