Ederline Farm Guest House is new for 2022 and will be open as from the 28th May 2022. We have totally renovated a house at Ederline Farm to create three en-suite rooms for guests. They are all elegantly decorated and have en-suite shower rooms with one en-suite also having a bath. All the bedrooms are spacious and have full size super-king beds or twin beds with Simba mattresses, smart TVs, hot drink facilities, large walk in showers and amazing views across the fields down to the loch. We provide a self service continental breakfast which is available from 8am-10am which is laid out in the kitchen. We are a short drive to numerous places to eat or use the kitchen to prepare an evening meal then you can relax by the log burner in the sitting room with a glass. A warm welcome awaits!

Glasgow to Lochgilphead (approx 98 miles). Take the A816 Oban road out of Lochgilphead heading north. Through Kilmartin and 2 miles the other side take the first turn to the right sign posted Ford/Cladich on the B840. Follow the road for 1.5 miles past Loch Ederline on your right and into the village of Ford.20 Opposite the white Ford Hotel the road turns sharp right over a bridge up the hill and out of the village. After you have left the village you need to take the first turn to the right signed Ederline Estate. Continue up the drive till you get to the farm and the guest house is on the right just past the archway and the parking is just past the guest house on the left.
Booking Terms and Conditions for Ederline Estate Guest House.
Here at Ederline Guest House, we provide bed and breakfast accommodation and our aim is to ensure you have a most enjoyable stay with us. We do not employ anyone full-time so we have no reception desk, and so to ensure smooth and efficient operation for the benefit of all guests, we do have some terms and conditions which we require guests to read through in full. By proceeding with a reservation, you will be deemed to have fully read and understood our terms and conditions as detailed below.
An invoice will be sent to you on booking from the website and we ask for payment in full a week prior to arrival.
Self check-in to your room is available between 4pm and 10pm on your day of arrival. When payment is received we will give you a code to be able to enter on the key pad and the key to you room will be in the door.
Check-out is by 10.30am on your departure day. If the room key could be put back in the door on departure.
Acceptance of Children:
As we do not have any family rooms, we are unable to accommodate children sharing beds with parents but accept infants in travel cots. Children are welcome but must occupy a room of their own at the appropriate room rate.
We can refund your booking 24 hours before arrival. A booking should only be considered as cancelled when you have received a confirmation email from us. To make it clear that we are aware of your intentions, we suggest you phone us as well as email with any requests for reservation cancellations.
Cancellation of your reservation by Ederline Guest House:
Your reservation at Ederline Farm Guest House will only be cancelled by us in exceptional and unforeseen circumstances. If we do need to cancel your reservation, then we will notify you as soon as practicably possible and will endeavour to provide you with alternative accommodation recommendations in the local area. We will however not be responsible for any losses or increased expenditure by you in securing alternative accommodation elsewhere. A full refund will be returned for your booking.
For the benefit of all guests who come to stay with us in our rooms, we are not able to accommodate your pets within the Guest House but are happy for them to come if they stay in the car.
Non residents.We operate a strict policy on non-resident guests. Under no circumstances will any person(s), not accepted by us as paying guests, be permitted to join you either in your room or in the public areas in our home as this person(s) will not be covered by our Public Liability Insurance.
Our drive has 3 spaces for 3 rooms so we would ask that if there are more than one car for a room please inform us and we will find alternative parking for the subsequent vehicles. Cars parked here are at owners’ risk.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves.
Damages and Breakages:
Please take care when staying at the Guest House. All the fixtures and fittings are our own personal possessions and we ask that you respect them. Whilst we do appreciate that accidents can happen, we do have to maintain the high standard of our rooms for all guests. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause to the room or its contents. We are happy for you to bring alcohol or drinks and we can provide glasses and the fridge in the kitchen for chilling. We do ask that drinks be consumed in the sitting room not in the bedrooms. All damages and breakages must be paid for before your departure.
We operate a strict non-smoking and a non-vaping policy throughout the building.
