This is a traditional shepherds cottage situated on a secluded hillside commanding spectacular views across Loch Awe.
This self-catering holiday cottage is fantastically remote set completely on its own in an elevated position. The access to the cottage is up a mile farm track and you enter the property through a gate. The garden is fenced with a log shed to the back of the property and a parking area beside the cottage for two cars. You enter into a large conservatory to the front with wonderful views of the open hill and Loch Awe. The double glass doors lead into the original cottage with a large twin/super king bedroom off to the left and the sitting room off to the right, all the walls on the ground floor have the original wooden slats.
The Sitting room has a large log burner which radiates heat throughout the rest of the cottage. It also has a DVD, flat screen TV, docking station and plenty of soft seating. There is no Wifi in the cottage but there is a good Vodaphone connection.
The views from the Conservatory are stunning come rain, come shine. There are chairs and a dining table if you wish to eat in this room and admire the view. It can be used for all your coats and boots with plenty of hanging space.
We have just put in a new kitchen with views across the hill side and down to the Loch. This is well equipped with all you will need to prepare meals, a microwave, ceramic hob, double oven and fridge.
Off the sitting room is a corridor leading to the bathroom with walk in Mira shower, wash hand basin. There is also a washing machine/tumble dryer tucked away in an alcove.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a twin/super-king and a double.
Why not spend the evening spotting the red deer that can be seen grazing around the cottage?
